EFX Performance is marketing a dive flag band and a “Save the Seas” band this year during it’s second appearance at DEMA. The Mission Viejo, CA-based company manufactures, distributes and licenses holographic performance technology around the world. “EFX was founded in 2009 with the goal of promoting its products in the wellness and athletic performance markets,” according to a company statement. EFX technology is imbedded in a line of products such as wristbands, necklaces, jewelry, and clothing. A company spokesman told DB that the holographic frequencies on its products had been increased in the past year, and the “breakage rate” had improved from 10 or 12 percent to about 2 percent.
