Ocean First has announced two of its 2026 events, the Professional Development Program and TIDES Summer Camp.
Ocean First Key Largo – Professional Development Program:
The program is designed to enable divers to take the next step in their professional diving careers. Features of the program include:
- Structured professional training integrated with daily dive center operations
- Mentorship from experienced instructors, educators, and conservationists
- World-class diving with access to marine science and sustainability initiatives
- A clear pathway toward employment within the broader dive industry
The TIDES Summer Camp
The TIDES Summer Camp is aimed at the young minds that will become the next generation of dive professionals. The program is catered to young adults and teens. It builds a connection to the oceans through integrating marine science, scuba diving, and conservation fieldwork into one experience. Features of the program include:
- Ocean literacy and marine ecology
- Conservation-focused diving experiences
- Leadership training and career development
- A values-based introduction to the dive industry
