Osprey Spreads Its Wings Into The Dive Market

Osprey is venturing into the dive channel with an assortment of high-quality travel bags, everyday packs, and travel accessories. Here is a glimpse into their travel bags:

The Transporter boasts a wide, main compartment spacious for all your dive gear, and large end pockets for the smaller gear. It is waterproof, not submersible, with weather-resistant zippers. There is a handle on every side so no matter where you pick it up, you can grab it. Varieties include a wheeled or duffel version. The wheeled variation is available in 40 Liter (11 Gallon), 90L (24 Gal) and 120L (32 Gal) options for US$240 (~€212), $270 (~€240), and $290 (~€256), respectively. The Duffel variety welcomes the shoulder and hip straps and is available in four sizes 40L (11 Gal) for $110 (~€97), 65L (18 Gal) for $140 (~€124), 95L (25 Gal) for $160 (~€141), and 130L (35 Gal) for $180 (~€159).

Osprey’s Shuttle Series is a lot more feature-rich with pockets galore and all the bells and whistles like a hidden daisy chain to pull your additional bag, extra-large wheels, and light-weight aluminum frame. Although not waterproof, it is water resistant. It also has the exterior compression straps. This feature can make the bag more compact overall and stabilize the load making you more streamlined, and divers know the benefits of being streamlined! Available in 100L (27 Gal) for USD $290 (~€256) and 130L (35 Gal) at $320 (~€283).

The Sojourn is a wheel bag in the same configuration as the Shuttle but with a backpack option. While the downside is that it adds more weight to your back and the price, it is a great option for the dive traveler that may need to trek a bit on foot. This is available in a 45L (12 Gal) capacity for USD $300 (~€265) and 80L (22 Gal) for $340 (~€300).
With over four decades of technical experience developing high-performance carry solutions, Osprey stands behind their product. The All Mighty Guarantee covers any defect or damage that happens including wheels, zippers, or if your dog eats your pack.

Jack Gresmer, sales manager at Osprey, says:

We want people to have confidence in our product and know we are going to stand behind it.

Be sure to check out their everyday packs complete with a hydration packet, and their accessories to help keep you gear compact and organized.

An Embroidery Program will be available for resorts and shops with a 25-piece minimum per bag purchase. Look out for more details in the coming year.
