PADI has been inducted into the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.
The induction took place on September 29, 2017 at the Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort. During the ceremony, PADI was honoured as an ISDHF Pioneer, and for its role for standardising scuba training and spreading scuba diving around the world.
PADI CEO Drew Richardson commented at the event:
“On behalf of the entire PADI organization, we’re honored to have our work and continuing efforts recognized by the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.”
Richardson added:
“PADI’s mission is to be a force for good – to be the best in and for the world. By empowering divers and engaging them more effectively at the local level globally, global change is inevitable.”
