Shark Angels’ popular plush shark adoptions have returned for a limited run. Choose your favorite shark species, give your shark a name and receive a personalized adoption package in the mail.
Orders must be placed by Saturday, August 15, 2026. Free Shipping in the USA. All plush shark adoptions will be fulfilled and shipped the following week.
- Celebrate Shark Week With a Virtual Shark Adoption
Looking for a fun way to celebrate Shark Week? Choose a virtual shark adoption with their special Shark Week option. Name your shark, personalize the adoption and receive it digitally — no shipping required.
Whichever way you choose to adopt, adoption helps support Shark Angels’ Shark Conservation Internship Program and the next generation of shark conservationists.
All adoptions include your shark name and being listed on the organization’s shark adoption wall as an official shark ambassador.
Whether you choose a limited-time plush adoption or a virtual Shark Week adoption, your support helps Shark Angels continue educating, inspiring and developing the next generation of shark advocates.
Proceeds from the adoptions help support the organization’s Shark Conservation Internship Program, which gives college and graduate students opportunities to gain real-world experience in shark conservation.
Interns can develop skills in areas such as:

- Public outreach
- Advocacy
- Conservation storytelling
Through hands-on experience and mentorship, the program helps prepare emerging conservationists to become stronger advocates for sharks and healthy oceans.
