Scuba Schools International has announced its expansion into the Philippines market with Aquaventure Whitetip Dive Supply becoming the nation’s official SSI Service Center.
The move took effect on November 1, 2025, and will give SSI a significant presence in the Philippines market.
Aquaventure Whitetip Dive Supply has 10 locations across the nation, each now serving as an SSI hub. This will allow them to offer support to members and merchandise options. Store locations include Manila, Anilao, Puerto Galera, Alona in Bohol, Cebu, Mactan, Dumaguete, Coron, El Nido and Boracay.
The new Philippines-based teams will feature the following members:
- George Wegmann – Service Center Manager
- Chung Kai “CK” Teoh – Business Development Manager
- Chris Lee – Training Manager
- Gordos “Gordz” Gojunco – Training Manager
To celebrate the launch of SSI into the Philippines market, a Grand SSI Philippines Launch Party will be held on November 10 in Puerto Galera. The event will feature a member update as well as training workshops and onboarding events.
In addition, SSI plans to offer monthly webinars, SSI University vlogs and nationwide events to empower the Philippines diving community.
