Tanya Streeter to teach from Turks and Caicos

From January 22-29, during the peak whale-migration seasonin the Caribbean in 2009, ten times world record holder freediver TanyaStreeter,  will be resident at theAmanyara resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands and sharing her knowledge withguests.


Amanyara will offer gentle stretching and breathing classesin which Tanya Streeter will teach the breathing techniques that helped herachieve her deepest dives.  Mrs Streeterhas a personal breath-hold of close to six-and-a-half minutes. She will alsolead private sessions in the open sea, including snorkelling tours andfreediving lessons in Amanyara Bay. She will be freediving around participantsat depths of more than 50 feet. On dry land, she will host several shortpresentations and film screenings of her documentary “Diving withWhales” and will be available to chat with guests.
