German dive magazine TAUCHEN has announced PADI as the best diver training organization for the 21st year running.
The award was presented to PADI at the BOOT show in Düsseldorf, Germany on January 24th, 2019. The awards are voted on by readers of the magazine, and every year readers can vote their favorite in 17 industry categories including:
- Dive Shops;
- Equipment; and
- Training Agencies.
According to PADI Europe, Middle East and Africa Vice President of Training, Sales and Field Services Mark Spiers:
“We’re extremely proud and honoured to have been awarded the prestigious TAUCHEN Award for Best Diver Training Organization again. This would not have been possible without the continued hard work, professionalism and dedication of the PADI Members and the continued loyalty of PADI Divers.”
He added:
“Thank you to TAUCHEN Magazine and their readers for recognizing PADI as the world’s Best Training Organization for the 21st year. I would like to dedicate this award to PADI Members across the planet, whose expert diver training and professionalism keep PADI as The Way the World Learns to Dive. Together, we are PADI, and a global force for good.”
Award winners receive a bronze statue of a dolphin, which is one of the most prestigious awards in the diving industry.
