The ICUN SSG has announced that it is rebranding and has launched a new logo to reflect better the variety of species the ICUN SSG work with. The new logo feature silhouettes of various shark species, while some will look familiar and keep to the more known shape and form of a shark others are a much less known, and in some cases, people may not associate the creature with being a shark.

The old ICUN SSG logo featured a Blue shark. However, the new logo now includes the following species:

  • Sharks
  • Rays
  • SawfishesNew ICUN SSG Logo
  • Chimeras

The ICUN believes the new logo will be easier to identify and represents a better representation of the organization’s work as a whole.
