Underwater Mermaid Show In China Sets New Guinness World Record

-

The China PADI team last week partnered with the Atlantis Sanya Resort on Hainan Island to set a new Guinness World Record title for “The Largest Underwater Mermaid Show.”

The feat took place April 28th and featured 110 PADI Mermaid Divers, according to the dive training agency.

“All PADI Mermaid Divers were invited to gather underwater, and they brought an unparalleled beauty to the world.”

Ninety percent of the mermaid performers were PADI Mermaid Instructors, and dozens of PADI professional safety officers escorted the underwater performers. Professional medical and rescue teams were also on standby, PADI said.
