Veterans Highlight The Healing Power of Scuba Diving

-

Two military veterans, Nick and Daniel, are highlighting the healing power of scuba diving.

Daniel, a former US Marine Combat Medic and Navy Diver, uses scuba diving to process difficult memories, negative thoughts and emotions.

While Nick is a former firefighter and was diagnosed with PTSD following his service during the events of Sept. 11, 2001. For him, scuba diving gives him a release from physical pain as well as the ability to find peace of mind.

Both men have dived with Diveheart, a non-profit aimed to help veterans with disabilities through scuba diving.
