Wes Skiles – Underwater Cinematographer and Pioneer Dies

DeeperBlue.com has just heard that Wes Skiles, a pioneering underwater Cinematographer and Photographer, died on Wednesday 21st July 2010, in a tragic accident whilst diving off Boynton Beach, Florida (USA).

Wes, aged 52, recently had his work featured on the cover of the August 2010 issue of National Geographic about diving in the Bahama Blue Holes.

Full details on the accident have yet to come to light but his death is a great loss for the diving community.
