The 2018 International Conference on Underwater Education, known as ICUE or IQ, has announced its program list, including guest speakers and special promotions.
The conference will be held alongside the Scuba Show in Long Beach, California, on June 22-23, 2018.
The conference will take place at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, Seaside Room 7, and features a whole host of seminars over two days. The conference creates a space for experts and dive professionals to present some of the latest developments in dive safety, dive education, equipment, and medicine. The seminars vary from general information to highly detailed and technical presentations that provide useful insights to every level of diver.
Entry to the ICUE is included with the purchase of a Scuba Show Seminar Pass. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two silent auctions: One for a seven-day dive vacation with Scandi Divers in Puerto Galera, Philippines, and the other for a seven-night dive vacation at either Atlantis Puerto Galera or Atlantis Dumaguete, Philippines.
Attendees can also bid for Men’s and Women’s Henderson Thermoprene Pro Shorty wetsuits.
Attendees also have the option to reserve a place at the NAUI-hosted reception dinner held on June 22, 2018 at Nelson’s Restaurant. The dinner will include special guests Lucinda Bridges, the daughter of Lloyd Bridges, and Zale Parry, who will celebrate the 6oth anniversary of the show “Sea Hunt” by sharing stories.
