Young people interested in diving have the opportunity to take part in SeaTrek BVI, the ultimate diving and marine summer camp.
The program features a whole host of journeys in the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and the Leeward Islands. Participants get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with scuba diving, sailing, as well as education in marine sciences.
Participants are normally aged 12 to 20 and will spend 21 days aboard yachts, becoming fully integrated in the liveaboard diving lifestyle. According to SeaTrek BVI Program Director and NAUI Instructor Trainer Kasey Fox:
“At SeaTrek, we pride ourselves in going above and beyond the NAUI standards, and as a result, we produce confident, exceptional NAUI leaders. Becoming a NAUI Instructor has opened up so many opportunities for me.”
Students have the opportunity to take part in a huge array of courses provided by the experienced staff that includes five instructor trainers and one course director. Aside from diving, students can take part in a wide range of marine activities, including water sports, sailing, exploring beaches and learning about the underwater world.
SeaTrek 2018 begins on June 16, 2018 and spaces are limited.
