Aida Brazil, in partnership with the Nauticafair fair, organised the 6th National Static Apnea Championship with guests AIDA BRASIL & NAUTICAFAIR 2008, that comprised of an excellent percentage of athletes in the female category and a huge public participation.
A new female static apnea national record for Uruguay was set by Margaret Wallace Araujo, under the control of Aida International Judges: Silvana Lavieri (Argentina) and Fabio A. Heusi (Brazil).
The results had been excellent for media and the development of the sport in Brazil.
