A Cool Opportunity To Test Mares’ New Horizon SCR Rebreather In The Maldives

-

The folks who run the Maldives Blue Force One liveaboard vessel are offering a really cool dive trip next month where guests will be able to check out the new Mares Horizon Semi-closed Rebreather.

From May 22-29, 2021 guests will travel the Central Atolls Route in The Maldives and take part in 18 dives with two of them at night:

“The aim is to find pelagic, grey sharks, white sharks, black-tip sharks, and in some cases hammerheads and dolphins, eagle rays and shoals of colorful fishes, morays, tuna fish, gild-head breams, groupers and turtles. Drifting dive in water passages and canals, thilas (submerged coral “seamounts”), cleaning stations where big mantas gather to deworm themselves, will search for the whale hark (and if we are lucky will snorkel and even dive with the biggest fish). We will dive into a full-of-life wreck. Besides, there will be two spectacular night dives, one with mantas and the other with dozens of nurse sharks.”

Rates will run from US$1690/~1383 Euros to $1990/~1630 Euros per person, depending on the cabin or suite. Flights to Male, taxes and service fees are extra.
