AIDA 2015 Pool World Championships in Belgrade Kicks Off This Week

The next major event in the Freediving calendar is upon us – this time it’s the 2015 Individual AIDA Pool World Championships hosted in Belgrade, Serbia.   122 athletes from 27 different countries are descending on the “Milan Gale Muškatirovic” Sport Center to compete in its two indoor and two outdoor pools in a bid to be crowned world champion.  As an individual competition each athlete competes for their own glory in the name of their country.

The competition runs from 19th through 28th June and encompasses the pool disciplines of Static (STA), Dynamic With Fins (DYN) and Dynamic Without Fins (DNF).

We wish the athletes the best of luck and stay tuned to DeeperBlue.com for updates and details from the competition.
