Andrea Zuccari, ex-partner and instructor at Only One Apnea Center, will take over the center located in the Club Sharm hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, which is soon to be called Freediving World Apnea Center. In the meantime, Only One Apnea Center will move to a new location.
Freediving World is focused on the development of apnea on all levels, from basic courses for beginners to training and organization of national and world records in all disciplines – from constant weight to no limits.
There is a 25m pool on site as well as 2 platforms equipped with counterweight systems to provide safety during training, competitions and record attempts. The dive centre also has 20 buoys equipped with lines at depths from -40m to -60m, allowing them to accommodate large groups of freedivers with plenty of space to train for everyone.
They will continue to work with Umberto Pelizzari, offering the service needed to host his Instructor courses as well as his famous Blue Week. They are open to work in cooperation with all instructors who want to use our infrastructure and services to bring groups of students for courses, training or stages.
For freedivers who are getting started or want to continue their education, Freediving World will offer Apnea Academy, Aida and SSI freediving courses on all recreational levels. For those who want to take things further, SSI instructor courses will be offered as well.
The crown jewel of the new Freediving World Apnea Center are the Equalization Stages which will assist athletes from all over the world to set records in depth disciplines or achieve personal bests.
