Authentic Big Blue Freediving Competition Set For September 16-23

If you’re a fan of Luc Besson’s film “The Big Blue,” there’s a freediving competition in its second year that takes place at the location where the most memorable scenes in the film were shot.

Besson’s film is a love story about the sea, two unique athletes and an endless competition, something that has become a benchmark for the freediving community worldwide.

The second annual Authentic Big Blue tournament will be held on September 16-23, 2018 off the coast of Amorgos, Greece and will be an anniversary event, since 30 years have passed since the official release of the film.
