The British Freediving Association (BFA) is hosting an Underwater Photo Competition with the great prize of a workshop with renowned freediving photographer Daan Verhoeven (www.daanverhoeven.com). The winning image will also be used on next year’s BFA membership e-cards.
Entering the competition is dead simple – all you need to do is email your best underwater image that captures the essence of Freediving to photo@britishfreediving.org – however you need to hurry as entries need to be in before midnight on Saturday 15th August. The photos entered will the be shown on the BFA Facebook page to allow for public voting.
Entrants will be in to win a prize of a one day workshop with Daan Verhoeven in either Cornwall or Chepstow NDAC in Wales.
The competition is open to anyone who is a BFA member, however if you are not a BFA member you can join for only £20 GBP on the Membership page of the website.
A few other rules you should be aware of:
- One entry per person
- Pictures should be taken on breath-hold
