Kimera Spearfishing company has introduced the new Kimera Sideslip tip for spearfishing.
The new, patent-pending tip will give you all the holding power of a conventional slip tip, but without any of the usual drawbacks associated with them.
The new tip can be installed on traditional spear shafts, and the side slip sits on the flopper pin. It stays in place when subjected to forward momentum, but when nudged from behind it will deploy. Since the spear shaft is the actual point, there is no problems if you hit rocks with the new slideslip tip installed.
The revolutionary design means the same spear can be used to take everything from blue-water pelagics to bottom-dwelling species. It’s also equally at home dealing with hard- and soft-fleshed fish.
