It is fair to say that the underwater labyrinths of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula are breathtaking.
This submerged cave system is a paradise for cave, technical and CCR divers because you find incredibly beautiful and fragile stalactites, stalagmites and columns. It is little wonder therefore that approximately 500 dive guides are registered in and around Playa del Carmen.
Cave instructor Ricardo Castillo says:
“There are lot of dive centres in the area, but not many options for divers wanting to buy high quality technical diving kit, or needing their gear serviced and maintained.“
