Former Sport Diver Team Launch Exciting New Diving Magazine In Europe

An exciting new monthly diving magazine has been launched in 2017 – Scuba Diver. The lavishly illustrated, 100-page magazine, which is available in perfect-bound print and multiple format digital versions, is supported by an interactive website and all the usual Social Media outlets – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Scuba Diver is brought to you by the core team behind the recently defunct Sport Diver EMEA, and Editor-in-Chief/magazine co-founder Mark Evans said:

“After Sport Diver EMEA sadly closed its doors after 28 years in production due to contractual changes in the USA, it left a gaping hole in the marketplace – and that is where Scuba Diver comes in. For regular readers of Sport Diver EMEA, the content will be welcomingly familiar, and still includes a rich blend of travel features, UK dive reports, comprehensive, unbiased equipment reviews, expert columnists and hints and advice sections, plus the latest international dive news. However, in a break from the norm, we are now totally independent, and working to unite the industry by including monthly content from all of the main training agencies, including PADI, BSAC, SSI, RAID, SAA, TDI/SDI, IANTD and GUE.”

He added:

“We are also excited to be working with DeeperBlue.com on our dedicated freediving content – there are sections in Scuba Diver for freediving, technical diving and underwater photography each and every month.”

The print version of the magazine is available for free pick-up in dive centers and clubs all over the UK and Europe – check out the stockists link on the website to find your nearest center – or you can opt to sign up for a subscription and get it delivered straight to your door. The digital version can be accessed directly from the website.
