Freediver Mandy-Rae Krack Delivers Keynote Speech At Royal Ontario Museum

-

Seven-time World Champion Freediver Mandy-Rae Krack was a dual keynote speaker with Alexandra Cousteau earlier this week at an ocean advocacy conference at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada.

The conference focused on the country’s commitment to safeguarding 10 per cent of its oceans by 2020.

Krack and Cousteau both spoke about the ocean’s influence on their lives and the priority of conserving the seas for future generations.

Prior to the conference, Krack told the CBC:

“It always surprises me how many people I meet that have never ventured underwater. I’m a true believer that if you have a personal connection to something you’re going to want to take care of it more.”
