Herbert Nitsch Returns To Teach Freediving In Maldives

Herbert Nitsch, the Austrian World Record Holding Freediver nicknamed “The Flying Fish”, is returning to Freediving to help teach a course in the Maldives in the last two weeks of April 2015..  Pairing up with Japanese-Danish Freediver Ken Kiriyama, the pair will jointly host the event at the ward-winning luxury resort Sonoma Fushi in the Maldives.

During the two weeks the pair will host the following activities:

  • One Freediving course
  • Special Freediving class for Children
  • Marine Biology Experience with emphasis on Hawksbill turtle
  • Special Evening Talks with accompanying Dinner

Herbert will also auction off his Freediving Wetsuit with all proceeds going to the local Marina Biology Project and the Learn To Swim Programme.

The nine hour course is available to book between the 14th – 26th April, with a maximum of four students per instructor and will cost $1,200 plus taxes. For booking enquiries, please contact reservations-fushi@soneva.com
