DeeperBlue.com has been following the iBubble story closely for well over a year now, from its initial prototype to its DEMA debut last year, and finally taking orders in April of this year.
According to iBubble, the product is on target for a November delivery, and is entering the final stage of its development.
Although the previous delivery date was in mid-October, this was pushed back due to certain technical issues with the available quality of tooling components, which proved to be unsuitable for mass production.
The iBubble is currently undergoing its product qualification phase. This will be done using the company’s first beta drones and means that come November a fully working, reliable and robust product can be delivered.
iBubble will start shipping in batches in November. The first recipients will be the company’s Indiegogo backers, followed by those who pre-ordered the product. The estimated delivery schedule should see all the iBubbles delivered by the end of the year.
