The National Association of Underwater Instructors has announced the rollout of the automated Divers Alert Network Student Membership Program.
This new initiative is designed to improve student diver safety by providing seamless access to DAN Student Dive Accident Insurance.
The new program allows eligible entry-level students starting their eLearning journey in NAUI CORE to enroll in the DAN Student Membership Program in just a single click. This allows students to activate up to US$25,000/~€21,340 in dive accident insurance, fully funded by DAN.
This immediate coverage ensures that students are protected from the very beginning of their underwater training, offering peace of mind to both students and their families. The insurance is available to students aged 8 and over and remains active until the last certifying dive or for up to 26 weeks after enrolment.
