Stunning New Diving Video Game “ABZU” Coming Soon

If you’re an avid diver who happens to also be a video game enthusiast, there’s a new game scheduled for release later this summer called ABZU that’s been getting rave reviews from people who’ve gotten a chance to play the beta version.

ABZU is essentially a game where you follow a diver as she cavorts in the underwater world. The trailer shows the diver interacting with fish, whales and sharks (although one wonders whether the final product will still have the shark growl/roar like a lion).

Developed by the same people that designed and scored the JOURNEY video game, the name ABZU comes from a couple of ancient Mesopotamian words: AB, meaning ocean, and , meaning to know.

“ABZÛ is the ocean of wisdom,” according to game developer Giant Squid.

ABZU will be playable on the PC and Playstation 4 console.

For more information, check out the trailer below or go to the ABZU website and Facebook page.
