DEMA Accepting Nominations For 2024 Wave Makers Award

DEMA is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Wave Makers Award.

These annual awards recognize new professionals in the diving industry who are rising to the top and making a difference.

Nominations for the Wave Makers Award are being accepted until Monday, August 5th, 2024.

Honorees will be recognized at the Annual Membership Meeting taking place on November 20th, 2024 during DEMA Show 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

John Liang is the News Editor at DeeperBlue.com. He first got the diving bug while in High School in Cairo, Egypt, where he earned his PADI Open Water Diver certification in the Red Sea off the Sinai Peninsula. Since then, John has dived in a volcanic lake in Guatemala, among white-tipped sharks off the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, and other places including a pool in Las Vegas helping to break the world record for the largest underwater press conference.
