Oceanic has announced the release of their redesigned and updated Alpha 10 regulator.

The new regulator gives divers a choice between two different first stages: They can opt for either a piston or diaphragm first stage.

The Alpha 10 still uses Oceanic’s patented, pneumatically balanced second-stage valve, which reduces the work of breathing. It also has a pre-dive switch to eliminate free flows, an orthodontic mouthpiece and the option for a swivel adaptor.

The Alpha 10 retails for US$299/~254 Euros.
