PADI Showcases Women Ocean Conservationists

PADI recently showcased nine women of all ages who have made marine conservation their life’s work.

While no list would be complete without “Her Deepness” Dr. Sylvia Earle, the list also includes bestselling author Rachel Carson, documentary filmmaker Lesley Rochat, shark biologist Eugenie Clark, shark educator (and DeeperBlue.com writer) Jillian Morris, young ocean explorer Riley Hathaway, cave diver Cristina Zenato, and Blue Latitudes founders Emily Callahan and Amber Jackson.

Check out a video of Earle talking about ocean conservation below, or go to the PADI website to learn more about her and the other women conservationists.
