Red Sea Cruise Ship Missing

Associated Press are reporting that a Red Sea cruise liner has gone missing as it left the port of Dubah in Saudi Arabia.

The ship "Salaam 98" disappeared from radar screens shortly after sailing from the port at 7 p.m. local time on Thursday night, the maritime officials in Suez said. They spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to address the media.

1,300 people are believed to be on board and lifeboats have been spotted in the water suggesting that the ship may have sunk.
