“The Hyperbaric Medicine Unit of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is the
primary emergency recompression facility and co-ordination center for
all Scottish NHS hyperbaric units, including the contact point for
diving related emergencies in Scotland.
They provide treatment for decompression sickness, CO poisoning, wounds and infections. The site includes useful, up-to-date information on SCUBA diving and Decompression Sickness. There is also a ‘virtual’ tour of the recompression chamber.
