Swiss Indoor Pool Freediving Championship Scheduled For This May

If you’re looking to test your pool freediving mettle and plan on being in Europe in May, this year’s Swiss Indoor Apnea Pool Championship will be held May 18-19, 2019 in Montreux, Switzerland.

Organizers are expecting about 40 athletes to participate, including the country’s top freedivers. In addition to being the Swiss National Championship, the event will also be an AIDA International competition.

Competition winners will be getting prizes from various manufacturers including CRESSI (the main sponsor), BLUENERY, OMER, MOLCHANOVS, and more.

If you’re looking to compete, you’d better hurry — only about 10 openings are left.
