The DeeperBlue Podcast Honoured At 25th Webby Awards

-

We’ve just heard the incredible news that the DeeperBlue Podcast has just been named a Webby Awards Honoree for Best Sports Podcast in the 25th Annual Webby Awards.

Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards honor excellence on the internet, including websites, video, advertising, media and PR, apps, mobile, voice, social, podcasts, and games. More than 13,500 entries from 70 countries worldwide were received this year.

It is one of the highest honors digital content creators can receive.

“Honorees like the DeeperBlue Podcast are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Claire Graves, Executive Director of The Webby Awards“It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 13,500 entries we received this year.”

It’s an incredible privilege to have been selected as an honoree by the Webby Awards.  As a small, independent publisher competing against large internationally known brands, it’s truly fantastic to see our podcast honored at this global level.

I’m incredibly proud of the team behind the podcast including Jason Elias our producer and co-hosts Linden Wolbert, Mehgan Heany-Grier, Sarah Richard, and Tec Clark – all of whom have made this an amazing and fun journey – as well as the community of divers and ocean lovers that have helped make the DeeperBlue Podcast such a success.

We can’t wait to see where the next season takes us.

We’ve just wrapped Season 2 and the next season is coming after a short break so if you are interested in getting notified you can sign up for the newsletter or listen to Seasons 1 & 2 at deeperblue.com/podcast or your favorite podcast app.
