“A student who won an internet competition to find Britain’s unluckiest tourist has landed a job as a travel correspondent.
In the last three years Polish border guards held him at gunpoint, he has had a motorbike accident in Holland and he has been mugged in France.
Chris, a TV Production student at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside in Lincoln, said: “”They say that travel is supposed to broaden the mind but in my case it has completely done my head in. I’ve only been travelling for three years or so but I’ve had an incredible run of bad luck. It’s been with me since I started, basically.””
