WDHOF Announces 2025 Scholarship Winners

The Women Divers Hall of Fame this week announced its 2025 Scholarship/Training Grant Winners.

The WDHOF is awarding US$95,500/~€86,981 to 68 individuals who are passionate about the ocean and looking to grow in their knowledge and skills.

Additionally:

“In celebration of our 25th anniversary, WDHOF is proud to have awarded an additional twenty-five basic and/or advanced dive training grants this year, thanks to the generous contributions from our supporters.”

John Liang is the News Editor at DeeperBlue.com. He first got the diving bug while in High School in Cairo, Egypt, where he earned his PADI Open Water Diver certification in the Red Sea off the Sinai Peninsula. Since then, John has dived in a volcanic lake in Guatemala, among white-tipped sharks off the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, and other places including a pool in Las Vegas helping to break the world record for the largest underwater press conference.
