Alexey Molchanov Sets New CMAS Freediving World Record

Russian freediver Alexey Molchanov set a new CMAS World Record this week with a 133m/436ft dive in the Constant Weight (CWT) discipline.

Molchanov set the record during the French Apnea Outdoor Open Championship in Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France.

In an Instagram post, he wrote:

“3 world records this year done, still more competition ahead. . . . Thanks everyone for the support.”
