By encouraging people to visit captive facilities such as Sea World, Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society believes that the BBC Online is condoning the capture and confinement of whales and dolphins and contributing to the growing popularity of swim with dolphins and other interactive programmes. These programmes, along with the facilities offering them and the animals exploited by them, are increasing in number around the world.
