Freeology, the organiser of the Worlds Best Freediving competition in 2003, has teamed up with a great new sponsor BIOS to make this years event even Bigger and Deeper.

The BIOS Freediving Open Classic will be held in the crystal clear waters of Cyprus from June 11th to June 19th. With over a 110 Freedivers coming from 25 different countries it will be a truly International event.

The Worlds top Freedivers will compete to see who is the best Freediver in the world, with world Record holders such as Martin Stepanek, Tanya Streeter, Pierre Frolla, Annabel Briseno, Carlos Costa and many more it will truly be a World Class Competition.

The warm clear waters of Cyprus make for an ideal location for both Freedivers and media alike. With confirmation that Discovery Channel will be shooting an hour-long documentary, planed for World Wide release, on location at the competition, a potentially massive audience will enjoy the stunning underwater imagery. Many other media companies including film, magazines, news and papers (including a team from have also confirmed they too will be attending the Competition.
