British Dynamic No Fins Freediving Record Broken At First Day Of The Great Northern Competition

-

The first day of the The Great Northern International Pool Competition in Liverpool, UK has seen some great performances from the competitors but none so more than John Moorcroft who managed to set a new British Dynamic Apnea No Fins (DNF) British Record, in the opening moments of the competition, with a 176m swim.  Moorcroft held the previous record at 167m and has been training hard for his record attempt and came close at last years competition.

The “Great Northern” is organized by Freediving Coach Steve Millard and his Apneists UK Freediving club and also incorporates the UK BFA National Pool Championship.  Athletes compete in 3 pool disciplines – Dynamic No Fins (DNF) on day one and Static (STA) and Dynamic (DYN) on day two.
