The Divers Alert Network has announced it is adding new coverage to its enhanced membership package.
The new benefits will add coverage for severe infectious diseases and quarantines.
Severe Infectious Disease Evacuation Benefit: If you’re on a covered trip and are unfortunate enough that a severe infectious disease outbreak happens within a 15-mile radius of your trip, DAN Enhanced membership now has you covered. DAN will cover the cost (up to the benefit limit) of your transportation and evacuation to the nearest safe place. After the infection has passed, DAN will cover your transportation to continue your trip or return home.
Daily Quarantine Benefit: If your trip is delayed by 48 hours or more due to you being in quarantine, you will now be covered. DAN will pay (up to the benefit limit) a per-day benefit to cover travel arrangements, non-refundable expenses, and economy transportation to return you home or let you continue your trip.
