The Divers Alert Network has announced the launch of its spring campaign to raise funds for the future of diver safety and is asking for your help.
The campaign aims to provide safety resources and education for divers across the globe and improve emergency responses. Funds raised will support various programs, including:
- Emergency Assistance: making sure the DAN emergency line remains up and running 24/7 to help divers worldwide.
- Dive Safety Education: Helping create educational resources and programs to improve diving skills and safety.
- Advocacy and Outreach: Working with Industry stakeholders to develop and implement policies that improve and enhance divers safety.
- Research and Development: Investing in cutting-edge research to advance dive safety protocols, procedures, and equipment.
Discussing the campaign, DAN President and CEO Bill Ziefle stated:
“We believe in the power of the dive community coming together to promote a culture of dive safety that will persist through future generations. Through this campaign, we invite divers, industry professionals, and all those passionate about the underwater world to join us in safeguarding the future of our sport.”
