Deja Blue 6 day four and the competition is now over halfway through. Athletes took to both the ocean and the pool to compete and it seemed a day where many Freedivers decided to compete in Constant Weight No Fins (CNF).
Highlights from day four:
- Tom Gilmore (USA) continues to be a crowd pleasure with strong performances. He gave the deepest No Fins (CNF) dive with a 45m / 148ft performance.
- Ashley Chapman (USA) showed stunning technique during a 130m Dynamic (DYN) Apnea performance.
Many athletes have points in all 6 categories now and rankings are beginning to appear. Full results can be found on the PFI Deja Blue 6 Result Page.
Along with medals, the prize table this year for the three men and women with the most points are Oceaner competition wetsuits, Moana Waterman freediving fins, Gannet Dive Co. competition lanyards, and Guy Harvey paintings.
