N.A.U.I. will be debuting what it considers a much newer and improved version of its First-Aid Course sometime in January of 2007. The previous Ashley based course is replaced with an all new N.A.U.I. produced course which promises to be far more comprehensive as well as designed specific to the diving industry.
This update includes a vastly improved color course manual unlike its black and white predecessor, and offers additional subject matter such as the proper handling of marine life injuries. New instructor’s manuals will also include updated software so that instructors can utilize Microsft’s Power Point for presentations in the class room.
