DEMA sponsored Scuba Tour ventured outside the United States last week by attending the Mexico Boat Show in Mexico City.
According to Tour Manager Chris Fuller, there were live television broadcasts, extensive newspaper coverage and continued interest from the thousands of show attendees. "Diving continues to be hot both in the United States and internationally, as this event clearly shows. We are looking forward to using this as a springboard for more Tour events in the United States and abroad."
Fuller said that more than 10,000 people attended the multi-day show and hundreds took the plunge in the portable Tour Pool. Retailers openly embraced the event and the result was overwhelming, he pointed out.
