Looks like Guillaume Nery isn’t the only prominent freediver to recently attach himself to a high-end watch company. Umberto Pelizzari is getting into the game, too.
Pelizzari has teamed up with Swiss watchmaker Franck Dubarry on the eve of the launch of the company’s latest line of dive watches, according to the WorldTempus.com blog.
The watches, which retail between US$8,900/~7,852 Euros and $9,900/~8,736 Euros (we did say they were high-end!) are waterproof down to 300 meters/984 feet. The minute and hour hands sport a Maori design, a composite-carbon bezel and a whole bunch of other features that a watch of this style would have.
For more info on these watches, go to the Franck Dubarry website.
