Freediving star Pierre Frolla is heading over to Oman, where he will lead six days of Whale shark expeditions, as well as hold freediving workshops.
The event will take place between October 29 and November 7, 2017, with both morning and afternoon expeditions designed to snorkel, swim and freedive with Whale sharks who will be migrating along the Omani coast.
Frolla is a world-record champion freediver, with 4 records to his name. The 43-year-old who hails from Monaco has dedicated himself to furthering education and peace since his retirement from competition, and is now an ambassador for the Monaco based Peace and Sport organisation.
The project is hosted by SEAOMAN, and will be held at the company’s dive operation at the Al Mouj Marina in Muscat.
On October 5, 2017 Frolla will host a discover Freediving workshop at SEAOMAN’s headquarters.
According to the Times of Oman, places can be booked for both the expeditions and the discover freediving workshop, and will set you back US$90/76 Euros and $260/218 Euros respectively.
