The restrictions on visiting Guadalupe have been rescinded, and it is now open to divers.
The announcement means that it should be possible to experience the great white sharks in the waters off Guadalupe in 2021.
Arguably the best location in the world to see great white sharks, the reopening of Guadalupe is excellent news for the local economy. However, it’s also excellent news for scientists and the sharks since it will allow science and conservation efforts to continue while helping to keep illegal fishing out of the national park.
Guest can experience extraordinary encounters with great white sharks in either surface or submerged cages, depending on their qualifications. Trips are open to divers and non-divers alike.
