Marine Biology student taken by Shark

Adelaide, Australia.

A Marine Biology student researching cuttlefish was attacked by a large shark at 4pm local time. The 20 year old man is missing, presumed dead. The search has been called off for the night, but is set to continue in the morning.

The attack occured 2km off Glenelg Beach during a research trip conducted by the University of Adelaide. 8 months ago a fatal shark attack claimed the life of a surfer less than a kilometre away.

Local fishermen blame berley for drawing sharks to the area.
